Camping Games

When most people think of camping games, they think of things such as scavenger hunts, volleyball, Frisbee, and horseshoes. While these camping games are great and many people enjoy them, some people want to play different camping games on their trips. Here we'll take a look at some camping games for kids and adults that you may not have considered.

One of the most fun camping games is called “Things That Go Bump in the Night.” This game needs at least four adults, so you may want to wait until the kids are asleep in their tents and ask the people who are in the spot next to you if they want to join in on the camping games too. If your children are older or don't scare easily this may be one of the camping games they can try too.
The way this works is that one person is a curator, another person is a visitor, and the other two (or more) people are statues or exhibits for the curator to show the visitor. You should have a flashlight on hand and make sure all lanterns are out. As long as the statues are quiet, they may move throughout the area. The idea behind these camping games is that the visitor and curator should not see the others moving, and if they do, the statue becomes a visitor, working to eliminate the other statues from the game.

Another one of the most fun camping games is called “Balloon Lift.” This game needs at least four people, but they don't need to be grown ups. You will also need at least two balloons. Blow up the balloons and give one to each group of two people you have. If there are more than four people, you will need more balloons. Without using any hands, the two people should work together to pop the balloon. The first group to pop the balloon wins. There are many other great camping games you can play, too. Just use your imagination and have fun!
