There are many places all over the country designated for RV camping, some of which are open all year long. Depending on where you live, you may be able to go RV camping in the dead of winter. Regardless though, you should follow all posted rules and regulations at all times to ensure your safety.

When it comes to RV camping, you have some choices. Some RV camping campgrounds only have a certain number of spots for RVs, others are completely dedicated to RV camping. It is important to know what kind of campground you will be going to, especially if you are going camping somewhere than you local area. Some RV camping campgrounds offer amenities such as power and water hookups, with bathrooms so you don't have to use the RV. If you get a spot with power and water hookups, you can expect to pay more for rent. Some RV camping facilities offer free wi-fi so you can continue to use your laptop with the Internet while you are camping. If you want to take an extended camping trip, some lots offer weekly and monthly rates. If you want to be able to leave your RV on the campground and drive to it every weekend, paying a monthly rate is probably the best way to do this.

Not all RV camping spaces cost money to rent. There are many different free RV camping grounds across the country. If you are looking for a place to park your RV for the weekend, consider using one of the free campgrounds. Even free campgrounds usually offer bathrooms, so even though you may have to cook on a campfire, you'll still have the luxury of indoor plumbing.
